Purpose Statement/ Mission Statement

In direct response to the needs of those industries for skilled workers, Northwest Community College’s School of Exploration & Mining, in partnership with Smithers Exploration Group, BC Ministry of Energy, Mines & Petroleum Resources, offers industry-related courses, programs and training in various areas of mining and exploration. There are six campuses and an additional four community learning centres.
