Purpose Statement/ Mission Statement

Lead agency responsible for developing new product uses and markets for Mountain Pine Beetle wood. FII's mandate is to support an environmentally sustainable and prosperous forest economy in BC and to promote BC wood products and forest practices internationally. FII also helps the forest sector deal with major issues like the MPB outbreak.
