Purpose Statement/ Mission Statement

The BC First Nations Forestry Council works on legislative, policy and program development, implementation and funding security for First Nations communities impacted by the mountain pine beetle. Ensures that impacted First Nations have the information and resources to be able to manage the mountain pine beetle epidemic. Advocates for opportunities for First Nations to accept a more active role in managing the mountain pine beetle natural disaster.
